Both Patti’s and Isabella’s birthdays are fast approaching. After a rough health crisis and hospital stays, Isabella is doing well at school again. We all wish her a happy school year, and a very happy birthday.
As mentioned at last year’s gathering at Barnaby’s, a formal birthday gathering is planned each five years, with the next being 2015. In the meantime, there may very well be a casual gathering for a cheerful salute to Patti on November 2d at Barnaby’s. Nothing elaborate or lengthy should be expected, but perhaps a surprise visitor or two could show; knowing of the many loyal and dear friends of Patti as we do.
Maybe we’ll see you there?
Just thinking that today, April 14, 2011, Patti would be Aunt Patti for Gina & Joe’s children, Anna Patricia (age 4), Olivia Rose (almost 3), and John “Jack” Dominic (9 months). It’s easy to imagine their playing and laughing.
Isabella is enjoying her new friends and activities at The Shipley School. She’s a great student and, not surprising, a great friend to her classmates, too.
The annual gathering of Patti’s friends will be at Barnaby’s on November 2d, from 6 to 8 P.M.. Hope to see you there.
Future celebrations will be every five years so the next one is November 2, 2015. Hopefully, we’ll see you then, too.
While each life has its ups and downs, the memory, cheerfulness and friendship of Patti is a constant source of smiles. Happy birthday, Patti.
Isabella has been accepted at The Shipley School, an outstanding private co-ed school, in Bryn Mawr. She will start 6th grade in the Fall, 2010. We all wish her continued success. Patti would be very proud of her, too.
By the way, Isabella Catherine’s birthday is November 10, 1998. A very happy day for all. We hope that she has the affinity throughout her life for making many true and wonderful friends just like her Mom.
We begin the year knowing that it is the 5th year of Patti’s passing. A lot has happened to each of us, but through all of it we have remembered Patti and the joy she gave us.
Looking ahead, while no longer posted here, there will be the usual gatherings of Patti’s friends at cancer fundraisers such as those mentioned in past postings below. Keep an eye out for those advertisements, publicity items, and messages from friends for future dates for these important gatherings. Donate if you can. Someday the cure will be found.
Likewise there will be the annual gathering at Barnaby’s on the anniversary of Patti’s birthday. I’m sure Isabella will be attending in the future. Barb will continue to keep you posted on the event.
When there is significant news, other than these aforementioned gatherings, it will be posted here. Mail is always welcome at tonyc @ patticrispino.com. In the meantime, you might also visit the gallery on this website and at pBase for more pictures of Patti’s daughter, Isabella, friends and family.
The annual gathering was joyous as ever with dear friends, from near and far, celebrating Patti. Some photos are in the Gallery 2009 album. Thanks to all.
Your support for Patricia Fitzgerald and Cassandra Burke will be appreciated in the effort to find the cure via the Komen 3-Day Walk. It’s an amazing undertaking by thousands who raise millions for research.

The Philly 3-Day is the weekend of October 16-18. On Saturday, 10/17/09, the trekkers pass the Cheering Station in front of the Wawa at 2d and South. It’s both amazing and inspiring to see and cheer the young and older, women, men, and children in this great effort. If you have the time, please join me there; it’s worth the trip.
